Thomas Ravensdale - CEO Trinity Group
Tom is a founding partner and CEO of Trinity since March 2004. A British national and a qualified chartered accountant, he began his career working in major audit firms - PWC and KPMG. Throughout the nineties he gained valuable commercial experience in London working in IT and Finance, working at the BBC, the Walt Disney Corporation and on various consulting assignments in the City. Following a brief period as a Management Accountant at Euronet, Tom was recruited in 1999 to head up the TMF (a trust services company) operation in Poland as Managing Director. Under his guidance this entity enjoyed strong growth and it was here that he met and worked with Trinity’s other founders. As a driving force at Trinity he his known for his open and approachable management style which he believes is important for a service business where problem solving and high professional standards are daily imperatives.
Alwyn Jacobus de Lange – Board Director
Kobus joined Trinity’s management in November 2006. As a board member he is responsible for business development and working with the other directors on client relationships. A Finance and Audit graduate from the University of South Africa, Kobus has worked at Deloitte where he was Manager for Business Services. He joined Trinity from Apsys where he was Director for Reporting and Control for four years. Kobus brings to Trinity valuable commercial experience in property and retail property management sectors with practical insight into the challenges of business operations that face such investors in the region.
Kobus is currently studying for an MBA qualification with Rushmore University.
Kenneth Morgan - Board Director
Kenneth Morgan is Head of Accounting Services and is responsible for the general running of the offices in Warsaw, Krakow and Wroclaw.
Morgan worked for 9 years in KPMG Poland where he held the position of Director in the Financial Services audit department for a range of clients and he also worked on IFRS implementation projects in addition to Sarbanes Oxley compliance engagements.
Prior to joining KPMG Poland, Kenneth Morgan worked as an Audit Manager in Ernst and Young. He is an Irish qualified Chartered Accountant and trained with KPMG in Dublin prior to arriving in Poland.
He is married to a Polish with three children.
Hugh Watkins - Director Romania
Hugh joined Trinity in May 2007 to head up operations in Romania. He brings to Trinity over 33 years of experience in audit, financial and company management. A graduate of University College London and a registered chartered accountant, Hugh began his career as an Auditor working with companies like Coopers & Lybrand and Price Waterhouse. During a ten year spell in Italy, Hugh worked in a number of industries culminating in experience as Financial Director and Managing Director of Italian companies. Hugh has lived and worked in Romania since 1998 initially working as Financial Director of PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and until joining Trinity, the same responsibility for Inform Lykos which is a manufacturing concern.
Philip Welsh - Director Bulgaria
Philip Welsh joined Trinity at the beginning of May 2008. He is a graduate of Queen\s University, Belfast and a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants.
Prior to joining Trinity, Welsh worked with Deloitte Central Europe for 10 years, as a regional CFO, based in Sofia. During this period the practice grew dynamically and implemented numerous regional systems and other initiatives. As a consequence, Philip worked closely with colleagues in all 17 countries where Deloitte Central Europe was represented and acquired a wealth of knowledge of the local and regional markets.
In addition to his knowledge of the audit and advisory business, Philip also has investor experience in the retail and property sectors.
